I thought it might be helpful to have some character bios for the main characters in my story.

Cindy (Cynthia Helen) and Darcy Rachel Slater
Cindy Slater had a wonderful life until her Sophomore year of college. Cindy, Darcy - Cindy's sister, Jinny, Sophie, Kim, and Min all went to college together. Cindy was shy and reclusive, but started dating a man that she thought was kind and caring, however she was proven very wrong. She was assaulted and badly injured by him and became even more walled in after the attack.
Min organized Jinny, Sophie and Darcy, hunted the man down, and severely beat him for what he did to Cindy. He stumbled in front of a train as a result of his injuries and was killed. The events of that night created a strong bond between them all.
Cindy was drifting - lost in a sea of goth clubs, dead end jobs, and depression. Darcy faced a similar end after a climbing accident injured her. The two sisters were a bit lost. When their parents lost their lives in a car accident, Cindy was the one who got the family fortune due to Darcy's alcoholism.

Cindy met Olivia Moore and found that she was proficient in magic and witchcraft. Olivia Moore set Cindy and Darcy on a direction that proved beneficial to both of the sisters. Once on the Path of Light, the Slater Sisters thrived. Cindy has become Olivia Moore's right hand and has invested heavily in a place for their side of the Coven to live (The House) and in the company started by Darcy - Hertechi.
Cindy is proficient in several aspects of strong Light Magic with a focus on Spells and Potions. She's kind, helpful, and very powerful. She's managed to double the family fortune though knowledge, not magic, and made enough money to purchase the house they live in and not have to work again due to her modest living expenses.
Darcy found that she had a strong and powerful alter ego that the Coven calls HER. She can influence and push people to do her bidding. She leans towards Grey Magic, walking the path of light and darkness.
Claire Mathews
Claire was a latecomer to the Coven. A sort of pet little sister to the
group, Claire tagged along with the older women of The House and eventually
moved in when Kim Sakai and Tak Min-Jung moved out. Claire is a kind soul with
a magical ability to speak to animals. She knows what they think and they know
what she thinks. She's able to enlist animals to assist her in tasks as well,
often asking birds to see things from on high. Claire has a great sense of
humor and is quick to try and make people laugh when she can. She and Leo
Anders are a couple.
Special - Claire was actually killed at one point circa 2021, but
was brought back to life by the Demon Ruri Von.
Kim Sakai and Jennifer "JINNY" Wilson

Kim is the manager of the coffee shop CUPPA and has turned it from a sub-par coffee bar to a top notch eatery. When the owners made the choice to sell CUPPA, Kim willed a solution into being - Olivia Moore investing in the shop.
Kim was raised Christian and had to leave The House when things became to witch-centric, but she is still very close to the women of The House. Kim doesn't know it, but she has powers herself. She's able to amplify feelings of love and caring, but can not control it.
Jennifer "JINNY" Wilson is Kim's soulmate. They have known each other since college and have been together since graduation. Jinny works as a project lead in advertising.
Lizzie Hirst
Wild and free, Lizzie Hirst is a loyal friend to Cindy and the coven. Lizzie knew Cindy in her club days - bouncing from one goth club to another and living paycheck to paycheck. When Cindy started to focus on the Coven and a calmer lifestyle, Lizzie followed suit and stopped being a goth party girl.
When Cindy helped Lizzie focus, they found that Lizzie was proficient in spells of protection. She even had an accident where she protected the entire neighborhood and all of the women of The House, though it drained her badly.
Now she is the Right Hand to Cindy - keeping her safe and being ready if Cindy needs her for anything.
Tak Min-Jung and Shane Barber
Min is a force of nature. Her Father, Tak Seung, is a powerful Korean businessman with ties to organized crime. Min's life was rough - dealing with her Father and the legacy of his business dealings. She left Korea as soon as she could and started a life in the US as a personal trainer. In college, she organized a revenge beat-down of a man who hurt her good friend Cindy, using her Father's mob skills to inflict pain and suffering on Cindy's attacker.
After meeting her boyfriend Shane, she took things up a notch and started two gyms with him becoming a mini-mogul and fitness guru. They now own two of the most popular gyms in the area. Shane Barber is the businessman of the operation, taking the lead on operations and finances. However, the Min Shane team is the heart of the EAST SIDE and WEST SIDE gym organization.
Min has never forgotten what happened back in college.

Tanner Walsh
Guardian of Olivia Moore, Tanner is a complex creature.
Raised in Ireland, Tanner had a relatively peaceful childhood until the age of thirteen. Her Father was a dirty, crime drenched police officer and her mother a sort of crime boss - both alcoholics and mean people. Tanner's Mother killed her Father, then worked with Tanner to become crime lords in Ireland - a Mother Daughter crime family.
When Tanner's Mother was murdered by a rival crime Family, Tanner went completely off the rails, killing them all and many of their family members. She became a gun for hire at the tender age of 18 - a dangerous mercenary that traveled the world on missions of death. At the height of her evil career, Tanner was attacked by a beast when working a job in Tampere, Finland. A werewolf. The werewolf side made Tanner and even more dangerous assassin - ruthless and evil.
She met Olivia Moore through a series of happenings and found peace with Olivia’s help. A calm place to function from. Sanctuary. Olivia was able to tame the beast, locking it away through magic, but Tanner realized that the Beast was a part of her she needed to have at her side, so Cindy and Kado broke the magic keeping the beast at bay and now Tanner walks the line between wild creature and loyal guardian every day.
Chelsea Bruni
Chelsea Bruni is another complex character. She got her start as a police officer in Italy and was part of the big Italy crossover that can be found here:

After those events, she escaped with Elke and Danuta and headed for South America. Her natural magic abilities were honed with the help of Elke and Danuta, then Chelsea turned on them both – attacking them and escaping back to Europe. Chelsea went from Dark Witch to Grey Witch, walking the line between good and evil. Currently, Chelsea is leaning more into the lighter magic.

Kado Durrant
Kado is a warlock and a powerful diviner of magic and energy. Originally from Japan, Kado is an integral part of the Moore Coven and the boyfriend of Cindy Slater.
Detective Mark Carver
Detective Mark Carver was born and raised in the Clairemont River Valley where the story takes place. He left after college and spent several years in Los Angeles and San Francisco before returning to Clairemont for a Detective position with their department. Mark has been involved in many strange happenings in Clairemont and was the primary investigator before Det. Marty Sandoval arrived.

Sisters Hiroto and Masami have been gifted in spiritual matters since they were children. The combination of their Mother's and Father's energy made both sisters very proficient in all things spiritual. Hiroto is the master of the physical plane while Masami is the master of the spiritual. When the sisters were attacked in Japan, Kado Durant came to their aid and they were able to banish the demonic forces together, but something lingered behind that hunts them to this day.
Pietronella Zampa

Detective Pietronella Zampa was a dedicated and talented police detective in Italy. When a strange series of crimes took place there, Zampa worked closely with Detective Angelo Vitale to solve a series of strange, occult murders. Sadly, she was struck down by the minions of the center of the storm - Elke Giacomina... Morte Bianca...The White Death.
Months passed, then Zampa was resurrected by Poena and Morgause - a minion from the land of magic and a Godess of the Path of Light - to continue the fight against Elke and the Path of Darkness.
Grazia Bellucci (Current location - Italy)
Grazia was a witch second and a business woman first. She was a master of White Magic, but her focus was mainly on her business concerns. When Elke Giacomina tried to take over Olivia Moore's Italy Coven, she helped to form a powerful circle to keep Elke locked to Italy and power dampened by using members of her Italian Coven as “magical locks” to keep her spell strong. However Elke had other plans, executing each of Olivia's witch locks one by one to break free. When the sixth lock of eight was killed, Olivia summoned the two remaining witch locks - Grazia Bellucci and Micha Rosetti, to come stay with her at the Moore Estate to keep them safe and abandoning trying to keep Elke locked away.
Raymond (Ray) Patterson
Ex-husband of Tanner Walsh. Ray is a sort of jack-of-all-trades adventurer originally from Texas. His time in the army and special forces trained him, but his time in the criminal underworld made him very dangerous. He and Tanner were only married for a year, the marriage ending when Tanner tried to kill him. They would see each other here and there, hook up, and run from each other as fast as they could before Olivia did her work to calm Tanner. Now they are a couple again – solid and powerful.
Sidney "Sid" Barnett
Sid is the Leader of Vanda Buccio’s Sicurezza Perfetta (Security Perfect) Team at the Moore Estate. Not much is known about him other than his involvement and membership at “The Continental”.
Velia Balotelli - The Librarian (Il bibliotecario) - first name "Concealed, healing
Velia is the keeper of sacred books. The Library was started by The Sisters of Light in 1928, then revitalized by Olivia Moore starting in 1960 with the acquisition of many more books, documents, and records. Velia’s magic combined with Olivia’s keeps the Library safe, but the addition of Velia’s dangerous duo of otherworldly familiars makes the Library one of the safest spots in the United States.
Holly Cunningham
Holly is a member of the Southern Oregon Coven. Her main skills deal with working with the spirit world. She’s able to calm restless spirits and drive dangerous spirits away. This talent has come in handy in the spirit filled Moore Estate. Kind, loving, and hippy-like, Holly is an Earthy witch presence that has been warmly welcomed into the Moore Estate for as long as she wishes to stay.
Rosa Padilla
Rosa is part of one of the major Covens in Oregon. Originally from Panuco, Mexico, Rosa made her way North and eventually found her way to a powerful Coven in Monterrey where she rose in the ranks and made a name for herself. A run-in with powerful crime lords brought that life to an end when the magic promised to them didn't work as expected. Rosa's hand was removed and she was beaten so badly she had to stay in the hospital for several weeks. The Oregon Coven leaders Rosa had worked with in her travels reached out and invited Rosa to refuge with them, arranging citizenship and safe travels as well as a powerful new hand forged in Mousseaux-sur-Seine, Francewhere Cindy Slater's cauldron was forged.
Reyna Antolin
Europe. Reyna was a key player in calming European witch factions during the Witch War uprisings in Italy, Germany, and France in March of 2024. Reyna lost her eye back in 2015 during a protection mission in Italy. The resulting magical healing of the eye resulted in a sort of “super sight” she can use to see further and through several walls.

Heather Copland
Heather had the gift of Second Sight since the age of 12. Her parents told her to stop using it or people would think she was some sort of freak, so she hid the fact for years – becoming more awkward and alone as time passed. When the Warlock Melkin and his small dark magic coven discovered Heather, he made her feel special and loved. He used Heather’s gift of site to plan his criminal dealings and to keep his people in line. A witch named Helena kept Heather in a sort of happy fog so she had not thoughts of leaving. Tanner Walsh’s friend and fellow werewolf was part of Melkin’s team, but started having more and more feelings of mistrust for Melkin as time went on. When Melkin asked her to kill Helena, she knew that she could be next. Heather made her escape when Angel and the members of Melkin’s Fantômes de Sang (Blood Witches) hit squad dispatched him.
With the help of Angel, Darcy Slater, and Hiroto, Heather was able to repair the damage her time with Melkin and her parents inflicted on her – learning to control her powers and regain balance in her life. She is dating James Parcell – CEO of SANDHILL.
Dennis Clark - asst. manager CUPPA
Dennis was Kim Sakai’s first hire when she took over being Manager of CUPPA. Dennis is a reliable, hard working guy who is loyal to CUPPA and all it stands for. Currently dating Fabrizia Buccio (Pink Yet Grey’s manager)
Alec Matthews
Tired of the San Francisco high end food scene and the entitled masses that soiled it, Alec was lured in by Kim Sakai with promises of a low stress job that he had a large amount of control over. He was able to get back to his roots, providing delicious and affordable home cooked meals like his Mother and Father made and making the CUPPA customers very happy.
Born and raised in Clairemont, Paige was always the popular and pretty girl – ruling High School. She went away to college briefly before returning to Clairemont to regain her Pretty Princess status. Her trademark pink hair and outfits make her a standout in CUPPA, but Kim and Heather’s work with her on being a nicer more thoughtful human being is what really made more people warm up to her.
Catalina "Cat" Franqui (Goyang-i - cat)
New to the Clairemont River Valley, Cat is just a really down to Earth
person who likes the simple things in life. She spends time with her friend and
college student Tori Butler when she’s not in the arms of her new Korean
businessman lover known as Goemul – a strange pairing indeed.
Alison - Officer Gabrielle "Gabby" Abbott
Officer Abbott was brought into the fold of the Clairemont Police Department on loan from another police department. She was tasked with slipping into the everyday goings on in Clairemont by getting a job at CUPPA under the name Gabby, and keeping her eyes open to events that may help Detective Mark Carver in his investigations. When she ran into a few near-death experiences at the hands of Janice Groll and other shadowy creatures of the dark, she realized that police work was not her career of choice, quit the department, and worked at CUPPA as a full time employee – quiet and happy. She is dating Sid Barnett of the Moore Estate Security Team.
Zoe Kimball was a friend of Cindy Slater and the girls in The House back in college. Cindy and the others knew Zoe was slightly on the spectrum and did everything they could to make her feel comfortable and welcome. Her talented programming skills made her life a bit easier, but switching over to a new primary doctor made her life even better. She was able to switch medications which greatly improved her situation – improving her quality of life, mental state, and even her physical well-being.

Chief Floyd Trivett
A classic small city chief character, Trivett runs a tight ship at the Clairemont PD and is a loved leader.
Detective Martin “Marty” Sandoval had a rough time of things as a kid growing up on the rougher side of Oakland California. Several run-ins with police led to his older sister Neva and older cousin Aleida to scare him straight. It worked. When Neva was found dead in Lake Marritt in Oakland, he was sent into a downward spiral that his cousin – now a detective – got him out of again. Marty made it, eventually becoming a Detective himself in the Oakland PD before transferring to what he believed would be a…more quiet life in Clairemont. Coworkers sometimes refer to him as McFly – a reference to BACK TO THE FUTURE.
Detective Cassidy Brooks
Richmond,Virginia native feels right at home in the Clairemont PD. Hard working and serious, she likes to get things done.
Professor Carly Harmon
Harmon teaches Religious Studies at Clairemont College. She was briefly taken over by an entity that
was assaulting members of the Clairemont community – destroying darkness within
them and leaving them stunned and shaken in Clairemont Medical. The Moore Coven
was able to drive the entity out of her and she has no memory of the event.
Tori Butler is her star student. She is currently dating Chief Floyd Trivett.
Tak Seung
Father of Tak Min-Jung (Min) , Seung is a very successful businessman in Korea. He’s part of the Hyeon Dae-Ho

Major players in the Italy Crossover Story

Elke Giacomina - Morte Bianca
Elke was Olivia Moore's Right Hand in the Italian Coven Olivia started. She was the leader Olivia needed there while she conducted business in the United States and all was well for years until Elke started diving deeper and deeper into Black Magic. Soon, she was taken over - Walking the Path of Darkness instead of The Path of Light. Olivia worked with her to change this path, but Elke fought against her and turned Olivia's Coven against her as well. Olivia lashed out, destroying the Coven and striking fear in it's members. Some begged forgiveness while others rose up against her lead by Elke. Olivia cast a spell that plunged the Coven into a fiery grave, but Elke managed to survive. She worked with Chelsea Bruni to heal herself and regain her youth, then found that Olivia had bounder her to Italy through deep magic - using whiches around the country to keep the spell firm. Elke and Danuta began killing these "witch locks" one by one until Olivia brought the remaining two (Grazia and Micha) back to the US to save them, thus releasing Elke into the world. Currently Elke has given up her fight against Olivia after Olivia lashed out and damaged several Covens to prove that she is still in charge.
Danuta Szymańska's heart is as black as the magic she uses. She's a sadistic psychopathic nightmare, crashing through the world like a rabid rhino and doing whatever it takes to get what she wants. Loyal Right Hand to Elke Giacomina, she casts black magic and has a penchant for blade weapons.
Janice Groll
Janice was a member of Melkin's hit squad of Blood Witches. Angry and violent, Janice used guns over spells most of the time, her magic keeping her lucky and alive. When Melkin started falling apart and lost control of his reality, Janice struck. She fed on Melkin and drained him of his blood and his magic. This had an amazing effect on her. Stronger, faster, taller, and more confident, Janice started her own rein of terror and power grabbing.
She made a deal with the Demon Ruri Von and worked for her - all the while plotting for herself. Tanner eventually blew Janice up with a rocket, but Janice's magic healing combined with the Demon's magic eventually had her back to full strength with a new body.
Tomie Kawakami -
Kamidashi girl when she was back in Japan, living off men and making them her slaves through magic. Not much is known about this magical being. She can hook men in and make them her loyal and slave-like minions. She can regenerate - growing whole new body parts, bodies, and even selves if she is in pieces. She can not be photographed without her disturbing other self being seen in the photo. Self centered and driven for her own pleasures, she has connected with Janice Groll and formed a little alliance - now getting financial gains from Janice's new Demon boss Siuxxothran in return for doing tasks and charms for her.
